How it is calculated
- Daily amount: wages for the 3 full months before you stopped work divided by 90, or for 6 months divided by 180 — whichever is higher.
- Maximum: ₪350.47 a day, reached at a wage of about ₪10,514 a month.
- Each approved day of leave is paid. The first period must be at least 30 days, any later period at least 14.
The amount is before income tax, Bituach Leumi and health contributions. A Bituach Leumi doctor decides entitlement and the period.
