What the calculation includes

  • Basic pension: ₪1,838 for a single person, ₪2,762 for a couple, slightly more from 80.
  • Seniority increment: 2% for each full insured year, up to 50%. Without the number of years, the calculator shows a range.
  • Children: ₪581 per child, for up to two.
  • Until 70: earnings above ₪10,113 (single) or ₪13,484 (couple) reduce the pension. Occupational pensions do not count here.
  • Income supplement: tops the pension up to ₪4,375 for a single person and ₪6,912 for a couple. Pensions, earnings and other income all count here.

The calculator does not check savings and cars, which affect the income supplement, or the special benefit for people who immigrated after retirement age.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the old-age pension for a single person in 2026?

The basic pension is ₪1,838, or ₪1,941 from 80. With the seniority increment it can reach ₪2,757, and with the income supplement ₪4,375.

How much does a couple get?

₪2,762 basic, when the partner does not receive a pension of their own. If both qualify, each gets a single person's pension.

Does my occupational pension reduce the old-age pension?

Not the pension itself. It does reduce the income supplement if it is above ₪1,790 for a single person.

I work after retirement age. How much will I get?

Until 70, every shekel of earnings above ₪10,113 (single) reduces the pension by 60 agorot. From 70 the pension is paid in full whatever you earn.

  • Senior Income Supplement

    An addition to the old-age pension for people with low income. Brings the pension up to ₪4,375 for a single person and ₪6,912 for a couple.

    A monthly pension for the widow, widower and children of an insured person who died. From ₪1,838, plus grants. Claim within 12 months.
